Tree work
- Management emails a notice with the dates before tree work. The last notice scheduled tree trimming from Wed, Apr 1 to Wed, Apr 8, 2026.
- Follow the instructions the tree crew posts, including the “No Parking” signs.
- Owners who rent out their home: tell your tenants.
Spraying the tulip trees
- Management scheduled sprays of the tulip trees along the streets on Thu, Jul 24 and Mon, Aug 25, 2025, to reduce the insects that make cars and walkways sticky.
- For those sprays, management asked residents to move cars out from under the tulip trees, close windows and cover pet food dishes, because the spray would go onto the treetops with a high-pressure sprayer.
- The notice said the materials are highly diluted and registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
New mulch (bark)
The last notice scheduled new bark for Thu, Mar 19, Fri, Mar 20, Mon, Mar 23 and Tue, Mar 24, 2026, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., blown into the planting beds from large blower trucks. That notice said:
- Move potted plants and decorations away from your doors before the work. The landscape team is not responsible for damage to them.
- Keep windows and doors closed during the work.
- Equipment may block a driveway for a short time. The crew will move it to let you through.
- Do not walk on bark that lands on walkways or driveways. It can stain the concrete. A cleaning crew follows the installers.
Volunteers
On Wed, Mar 11, 2026, management asked homeowners to join the Landscape Committee, and said no experience was needed. To ask about the committee, contact management.
A problem with plants or trees
Owners: contact management through the owner portal. Tenants: tell your landlord, or the rental management company your landlord uses.
Questions
Do I need to move my car for tree work or spraying?
Yes, when the current notice or the posted signs ask. Follow the crew’s “No Parking” signs during tree work. For the 2025 tulip tree sprays, for example, the notice asked residents to move cars out from under those trees. More on landscaping.
